We believe that effective decision making can and should be informed by in-depth, sound and rigorous analysis. We aim to inspire and inform policy and practice to ensure real and effective governance advancements.
Our approach to analysis and development is two-fold:
1. We develop analytical-based conceptual approaches/solutions to inform discussions undertaken in multiple policy forums, such as the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change [UNFCCC]. We use our analysis to build a strong evidence base and help inform international negotiations, government policies, business strategies and civil society action.
2. We develop analysis-based conceptual approaches/solutions to guide in-country implementation of international and national commitments, such as those falling under the UNFCCC. We use our analysis to help guide the approaches of governments, local communities, indigenous groups, international development organisations, non-governmental organisations and the private sector in delivering real positive change on the ground.
