Dedicated REDD+ safeguard seminar for NICFI and NORAD with the following objectives:

1) To gain a clear understanding of the safeguard requirements of the Warsaw Framework for REDD+, and their implications;

2) To gain an understanding of the early lessons, experiences and challenges of countries implementing safeguard commitments; and

3) To facilitate the identification of a common approach that Norway could follow to ensure and promote the implementation of the safeguards requirements of the Warsaw Framework for REDD+ in the context of bilateral and multilateral support.
