Operationalising Safeguards requirements to obtain results-based payments for REDD+ in Ghana, Peru and Viet Nam

The objective of this assignment was to support the implementation of country-led safeguard approaches to meet UNFCCC and other bilateral and contractual commitments [e.g. FCPF], in Ghana, Peru and Viet Nam, including guiding the identification and assessments of legal, institutional and compliance frameworks [grievance redress mechanisms, information systems and non-compliance mechanisms], the set-up of safeguard information systems [SIS], and guiding the methodological aspects of the awareness raising and capacity building activities for governmental and nongovernmental actors.
